We have a male cat named Sid.
He is the first cat I have ever owned.
I have owned Doberman Pinchers, a Peekapoo, a Chinese Sharpei and a long haired Dachshund.
It seemed only natural that if we were going to get a cat, it should exibit Cat Behaviors like a Dog.
After all a Dog will; 1.
Come when you call it.
2.
Chase and fetch a ball.
3.
Lick your face as a sign of infection.
4.
Sit in your lap as long as you let it.
5.
Jump into your arms and want to be carried like a little baby.
6.
Sleep at the foot of your bed.
If you choose a cat as your new pet make sure you do your research, they are an independent animal, they have sharp claws and you will always have marks up and down your legs and on your arms.
They can bring home ring worm and kittens can spread cat scratch fever, it is a real disease.
So after a lot of research and even meeting a lady with a cat like Sid we had found the perfect fit for our home.
We have a Chinese Sharpei and a Long Haired Dachshund and this breed of cat is know for being very dog like.
Do you know what it is? It is a Burmese, this breed comes from Burma, and they were bred from a cat named Wong Mau who was brought over from Burma in the 1930's.
The British claim the European Burmese and America calls theirs the American Burmese.
Sid is an American Burmese and he does all the things I mentioned above.
He also likes to ride in the car, go outside on a leash, and he will fetch a ball, the cat kind that he can get his teeth into.
He has been declawed and neutered and is very mellow.
They like to talk a lot and I have a sling that he loves to get into and walk around with me.
I take him outside and we feed the birds and walk around the yard.
He wakes us up with a face lick.
So if you are a dog person thinking about a cat, look up the Burmese Breed, they have all the Cat Behaviors[http://sidcitykitty.
