How to Cover Crow's Feet With Makeup

    • 1). Wash skin with mild soap and water. Oily or dirty facial skin creates a slippery surface. It will be more difficult for makeup to adhere and it will slide off the face much faster.

    • 2). Apply a thick eye cream around the crow's feet area, but take care not to get the moisturizer in your eyes. If eye cream does get into the eyes, flush them immediately with water. Allow the cream to settle into the skin for one to two minutes.

    • 3). Use a quality makeup primer over the affected areas as well as the rest of the face if desired to give the skin a smooth, even surface for which to apply makeup. Use your fingers to smooth the primer over the skin in even strokes. Allow the primer to settle for one to two minutes.

    • 4). Apply a stick concealer or cream makeup to the crow's feet using a foundation brush. As with the primer, use even strokes to apply the makeup and avoid a "cakey" look. Dab away any excess makeup with a clean makeup sponge. Avoid using pressed powder around crow's feet, which tends to settle into facial lines more readily than cream foundations and loose powders. If you must use a powder, go for loose powder for best results.

    • 5). Apply blush to the apples of cheeks rather than up on the cheekbones, which can bring attention to the crow's feet.
