Our kids are a bundle of joy and happiness when they arrive and all the pent up emotions of the last nine months are pushed away, but most times, it is for a while.
When they start to experience what life around is like, our toddlers start to act up.
They gradually become a monster that frightens us and makes us wish things we don't really mean.
They become a trying period for us as parents and make all the past joy and attention begin to recede.
What need to be known is that it is normal for your toddlers to want to make a statement for themselves.
They are selfish and want what they want, when they want it and how they want it.
This becomes something we need to contest which most times makes the situation go from bad to worse and often leave most mothers with post-natal depression.
Toddlers are easy to please just like they are easy to offend.
Their tantrums are very short lived when the parent know what is necessary to be done.
