We usually think of discipline as one of the first things to come to mind at times, the harsh discipline of military.
However, to be a runner of self-discovery the discipline comes first hand as a result of being a disciplined runner.
One can hardly believe what they have accomplished at times! Running is ancient going back to the beginning of time.
For man to stay alive he best becomes a good runner to save himself from beast or enemy.
Today running is considerate a hobby to many and not just a sport.
As a sport though, it is a pure sport for no gear has to be present to participate as the same for swimming.
Discipline even for seasoned runners the first mile or two may not be so comfortable because one's body is transitioning from the inactive state to that of being mobile.
She or the male runners continue on though to get to the good part.
So being a disciplined runner comes naturally to find self-discovery.
How many times have you listened to a veteran or a master runner speak of what they use to do before the days of running.
As many different reasons a runner comes to be a runner as there are runners.
A disciplined runner must always be present.
A runner often finds they not believe in what they have accomplished.
They find out what they are truly made of, in this role of self-discovery.
Some have over come being a long time smoker or shedding excess pounds.
Many runners re-kindle a competitive nature they not thought of for decades.
How many times have you been to the road races of 10k runners or 5k runners, you're totally amazed of their performance? Many even go as far as to running marathons! Seeing this for the first time, you simply can't believe the ages of many of the runners.
Those who stay the course of a disciplined runner truly fine the riches of self-discovery within!
