    • 1). Ask your professor which bibliography format you need to follow, if you don't already know.

    • 2). To cite a book in MLA format:

      [Author Last Name], [Author First Name]. [Book Title].
      [City of Publication]: [Publisher], [Publication Year]. Print.

      Replace the information within the brackets with details for your first book (but do not include the brackets themselves). The book's title should be in italics. Repeat this format a second time for the second book.

      [Author Last Name], [Author First Name]. [(Publication Year)]. [Book Title]. [Place of Publication]: [Publisher].
