How to Assemble a Pub Table Leg With Nuts & Bolts
- 1). Read the instruction manual that came with your pub table and familiarize yourself with the assembly process. While table leg assemble is typically easy, there may be one or two steps that make your particular table unique.
- 2). Lay the provided assembly hardware in front of you to confirm you have everything that is required. The hardware should include four bolts and four nuts, or whatever is depicted in the instruction manual.
- 3). Set the tabletop upside down on a carpeted area of the floor. If you don't have a carpeted area, set the tabletop on a blanket to prevent it from scratching.
- 4). Hold one table leg in place, ensuring that it fits correctly, and line up the hole in the leg with the mounting hole in the tabletop. Insert a bolt through the holes from the outside in. Thread a nut onto the end of the bolt and tighten it with a wrench or ratchet and socket. If wing nuts are provided with the table, tighten them by hand. If your pub table has one center leg instead of four legs around the outside, it will have a slightly different assembly process. In this case, line up the flange on the top of the leg with the holes in the underside of the table stop and screw the bolts in until tight.
- 5). Assemble the other three legs, if required.
- 6). Flip the table onto its feet and set it on a secure surface. Place your hand on its top and wobble it to see if any leg is loose. If any leg shows signs of being loose, flip the table back upside down and tighten the nut.
