- 1). Strip and paint any woodwork inside the trailer. Most tag-along trailers probably have a wood veneer as the main design element inside.
- 2). Change the color of the material inside the trailer. From the drapes to the seat coverings, if you are good with a needle and thread or know someone who is, changing these to current color styles will have a significant impact on your tag-along trailer's decor.
- 3). Use area rugs or consider taking out the carpets and replace with a laminated wood floor. This is a larger job and you need to weigh the cost of the improvement versus how long you will keep the trailer. Laminate wood flooring comes in many different colors and quality levels.
