Southern California is the area stretching from metropolitan Los Angeles to the Mexican border, just beneath San Diego. Southern California is known for its laid-back beach attitude. After a relaxing day in the sun, however, the nights in So Cal get dialed up a notch at some of the hottest clubs around. Wherever you go in Southern California, a fun night club is nearby. - Deep is a club in the heart of Los Angeles. Only open on Sunday nights, crowds pack the floor weekly to dance and listen to world renown DJs spin house music. Founded by DJ Marques Wyatt, Deep was the brainchild of friends in the world of hip hop and house music wanting one spot where everyone could gather, instead of following DJs around town to raves and after-hour events. The result was Deep, and it has now been in Los Angeles for 10 years. The atmosphere is casual.

deep-la.com - Boulevard3 is a Hollywood night club that was built by transforming the old Hollywood Athletic Club. The wide open spaces of the former athletic club inspired the owners to create what they call "an English Manor house with modern insides," which makes customers feel they are at a house party rather than a bar. The lobby, complete with fireplace, opens onto the dance floor on the site of the old Olympic-size swimming pool. Above the room are a mezzanine level for watching the dance floor and a balcony with private suites. Boulevard3 features live performances including aerialists and flamenco dancers.

The club has live music six or seven nights a week. Cover charge at the club can be anywhere from free to $15, depending on the act.
