Macy's Holiday Windows
Macy's is home to some of New York City's most famous holiday window displays. Every year, Macy's features two series of window displays -- one set depicting scenes from the classic Christmas film Miracle on 34th Street and a second set that is new each year. The window displays are typically unveiled in early-mid November, and are always on view in time for Thanksgiving.
These windows featured animated books opening to reveal traditional New York City holiday scenes, including ice skating at Rockefeller Center and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
