Botox Dubai is a common treatment. For those of you who are not familiar with the treatment, Botox is a treatment where, liquid neurotoxin is injected into the muscles that are used to treat frown lines, squint and smile lines, nasal crease lines, horizontal forehead wrinkles and crow's feet. By making the underlying muscles to relax, the wrinkles and deep lines become less prominent. Basically, it makes the wrinkles and lines on the skin, in the particular area vanish, giving the patient a more youthful appearance.

Botox approved by the FDA in 2002 and since then it has been used to treat many patients all over the world for medical and cosmetic reasons. Some of the side effects of Botox include, bruising, eyebrow or eyelid droops, a temporary headache, and sometime mild but rare flu-like symptoms. Side effects are usually visible if Botox is injected in large amounts for medical purposes and not for small amounts that is used for cosmetic treatment.

Some of the cosmetic side effects of Botox treatment are frozen forehead, one or both eyebrows that pop up too much, eyelid drooping and the feeling of a heavy brow.

Botox is a successful treatment, and it should be customized to suit the individuals face and expressions. The dermatologist should consider factors such as, the facial muscles used the most, facial balance, a person's career and personal preferences and social desires prior to Botox treatment. A good dermatologist will talk to the patients and answer any questions and concerns about the procedure before going ahead with the treatment.
