  The Sun Dome Arena is the main athletics facility of the University of Southern Florida Bulls. The building was constructed in 1980. The Sun Dome is located adjacent to the USF campus in the city of Tampa, Florida, approximately 280 miles south of the state capital at Tallahassee. While it plays host to the university's men's and women's basketball home games, the Sun Dome is also home to numerous conferences, charitable events and other entertainment including concerts and fights.
