Palm Tree Removal And Felling

103 3
It is often taken for granted that palm tree removal and felling are exactly the same process.
They are in fact very different.
Felling is the process of cutting down a tree.
You still have the roots sitting in the ground.
You are no longer in danger of having the tree fall on your home or growing over your wall or fouling the power lines, but it has a chance of regrowing since the roots are still there.
Removal encompasses the felling of the tree and the removal of all its connected parts.
It is much more in depth and requires a lot more time and skill.
It is also a lot messier than tree felling since the roots have to be removed.
Which option you take is up to you.
It depends on what kind of problem you have.
If the tree is just crushing a wall and not causing damage with its roots, the simply chopping the tree down is enough.
If the tree is digging up your swimming pool or growing into the foundation of the house, then you need to think about removal.
Palm tree removal and regular tree removal also differ.
The root systems are different and thus present different challenges.
A more adventitious root system is more wide spread and will cause more general mess, but is shallower.
A tap root system is deeper but more contained.
The removal will involve more excavation but the mess will be contained a lot more.
Be sure to get the right operation executed.
Choose between palm tree removal and felling - they are very different indeed.
You may not need to go to the extreme of removal.
