  Moclips, Washington, is a small coastal town on the Pacific Ocean. Its beaches are as appealing to dogs as they are to dog owners, so if you are interested in taking your dog along when you vacation there, you'll want to know where you and your pet will be welcome. Accommodations include condos, motels and beach houses. One lodging welcomes cats as well as dogs. Hi-Tide Ocean Beach Resort

• Located on Moonstone Beach on the Olympic peninsula, Hi-Tide is open year round with 23 condos. Dogs are welcome as long as arrangements are made ahead of time. The fee is between $12 and $15 per dog each night, with a maximum of two dogs in a unit. Dogs must never be left unattended. Seashore Dreams

• Seashore Dreams has two vacation rental units, with one unit allowing dogs. The fee is $5 per night for dogs under 15 lbs. and $20 per night for dogs over 16 lbs. They allow two "well-mannered dogs with responsible owners," subject to approval from the manager and a signed dog rental agreement.
