Eve Online Pirate Guide Part 1: The Setup
In this article we will run down what it takes get you in the Player Vs Player drivers seat, even if you are just a beginner to Eve Online.
Most people just starting out are told they won't make that big of an impact early in their Eve Online career, but that is simply not true.
With the right training, skills, and equipment, you will be able to take down much larger ships then yourself.
One of the first things you need to do is invest in the next 3 skills, High speed maneuvering I, Navigation IV, and Afterburner IV.
Obtaining these skills will allow you to use a micro warp drive, and they will take up most of your training time, but they will really come in handy during crunch time.
Next I would suggest purchasing either a warp disruptor or warp scrambler.
Both of these have their advantages, I personally would choose the warp scrambler.
To be able to use the Warp Scrambler, you will need to train the following skills, Propulsion jamming I, and Electronics III.
A Stasis Webbifier will also come in handy when you need to slow down your enemy, but is not always needed in certain areas.
Now if we put all of this together on one ship, we need to be able to power it all.
That is why you will also need to train: Energy Grid Upgrades II, Science I, Engineering II.
Also throwing some Capacitor Power Relays in your lower slots will help with the energy consumption.
