  Wadesboro lies in the central part of North Carolina, approximately one hour east of Charlotte. The town's business district earned a spot on the National Register of Historic Places and dates back to 1783. Forever Inn

• The Forever Inn in Wadesboro was built in 1910 and is a two-story bed-and-breakfast establishment in what the owners describe as the Queen Anne Victorian style. Smoking is not allowed, and guests receive a free breakfast and stay in rooms with a private bath. The inn promotes its hospitality, flexible check-in times and at-home atmosphere. The Forever Inn offers discounts for guests who stay for three or more nights and has a variety of packages. These include romance and fishing packages as well as gift certificates that can be used in town. The rooms in the winter of 2010 ranged from $79 to $99 a night.
  
  

Executive Inn Wadesboro

• The Executive Inns hotel chain has three locations, including one in Wadesboro. Offering what it describes as unexpected luxury for less, the hotel features standard rooms along with suites equipped with kitchenettes and Jacuzzis. Both short or long-stay terms are available. Guests receive a free breakfast at this affordable hotel, which offered rooms starting at $53 a night in December of 2010. The hotel has an outside swimming pool with lounge chairs. This Executive Inn is one block from downtown Wadesboro and conveniently located along US Highway 74. The Town Creek Indian Mounds are 20 miles from the hotel.
  
  

Holiday Inn Express Rockingham

• Situated approximately 20 miles to the east of Wadesboro, the Holiday Inn Express Rockingham bills itself as the closest hotel to the North Carolina Racing Speedway. Guests receive a free breakfast and newspaper. The rooms include the usual amenities along with a microwave and refrigerator. Upgraded suites with Jacuzzis are available. Rooms were available beginning at $84 a night at the end of 2010. Hotel highlights include an outdoor swimming pool with lounge chairs and business services. Guests have the luxury of being able to park in front of their rooms. Guests also have access to a nearby fitness center for a fee. The Holiday Inn Express chain offers discount rates to seniors over 62.
