A Couple of Reviews For You
My goal for the past six years has been to share with you as much of my knowledge and insight into the game of golf and its equipment as I possibly can, so that you can take your enjoyment of the game to new heights. There is nothing more satisfying than achieving new skill levels and seeing your handicap go down because of it. So today, I'm going to share my review of two products that I believe will help you do just that.
STAR Putter

I have shared my continuous love/hate relationship with the putting aspect of the game, and recently have just hit rock-bottom, so much that it is beyond despair and into ridiculousness. My last two rounds were so dismal on the greens that it was nearly laughable, if it weren't so sad.

But that's all changing, thanks to a very small little device invented by a very bright lady named Rita Shuenemann. I met Rita and her husband last weekend at a golf expo in San Antonio. She is a very successful teaching pro who has devised a putting training aid that is absolutely amazing in its simple brilliance. The STAR Putter is an alignment tool that I can attest really works. Check it out at StarPutter.com. Here's my testimonial about how good this device is:

Over the past couple of months, I have become completely unable to make short putts. Anything under ten feet and I go epileptic. The shorter the putt, the worse it is. I know that the yips begin by having your fundamentals so sour... then you miss a few... then you lose your confidence... then you can't make any. So, Rita gave me a STAR and I took it to the practice green Tuesday afternoon. I set it up at a straight putt of four feet and proceeded to make 90 in a row!!! I was blown away. I did the same Wednesday afternoon, stopping at 70, and again yesterday with the same result. When I removed the STAR from the drill, I made 60 in a row!! I'm not saying I'm totally "cured," but appear to be healing nicely. I can assure you that I will use the STAR in my putting warm-ups before every round from now on. Thanks Rita!
Thin Golfer

As you know, I am a big fan of being custom-fitted for your clubs, but I have never really given much thought to just being fit. That is, until I met "Thin Larry" -- a.k.a. Larry Jacobs. Larry has done a world of research into healthy eating and does not endorse "dieting," as people just will not stay on them. What Larry espouses is a lifestyle change in what you eat -- then you don't have to worry about how much you eat. Larry has devised a program of knowledge and intelligence about what you put in your body, and it makes more sense than anything I've ever read about dieting. With his program, the foods you eat make you a fat-burning machine, rather than a fat-storing machine. And he's got a mile-long list of testimonials from people who say Larry has changed their lives. Best of all, Larry offers a complete money back guarantee to anyone who tries his system and is not satisfied. You can find out more at ThinGolfer.com.

So, there you have two game improvement endorsements from The Wedge Guy. Get yourself a STAR Putter and sign up for Larry's program. They'll soon be asking around your club, "Who's that thin guy out there making all those short putts?"
The Wedge Guy is sponsored by SCOR Golf, where Terry Koehler is President/CEO. He encourages you to submit your questions or topics to be considered for his columns on Tuesdays and Fridays. Each submission automatically enters you to win a SCOR4161 wedge to be given away monthly. Click the button below to submit your question or topic today.
