The next morning, Jack wakes up in the cage to see people outside the cage watching him. Cindy comes over and he recognizes her from the flight. He wants to know what she is doing with them and she says that they are watching him.

Later, Alex breaks the camera that is pointed at Jack's cage and asks him why, after everything Ben has done to him, Jack saved Ben's life. Jack tells her it's because he said he would.

He wants to know if Isabel will listen to Ben, and Alex says yes, so Jack asks her to get him out of the cage. He goes to Ben and says that he will help him get better if Ben stops Juliet's execution. Ben agrees, but Jack later finds out that Juliet will be marked. The next time he sees Juliet he looks at the mark on her back and applies aloe to it.

Everyone, including Jack, leaves the small island because Jack's people know where it is.
