103 12
Mr.
Szalinski has been working in his attic for years on an electro-magnetic shrink ray.
One day, the neighbor boys were playing baseball in their back yard.
The baseball accidentally breaks the window in the Szalinski's attic.
Ron and Russ decide to do what is right by apologizing for the broken window even though their parents do not get along.
Nick and Amy answer the door and bring them to the attic to get their ball.
When they go into the attic there is no time to react before they are all four shrunk to a quarter of an inch since the baseball turned out the machine and then blocked a laser in the machine causing it to work correctly for the first time ever.
Before the laser was blocked, it would cause the test subjects to blow up.
As the machine is surveying the room for any more victims, the baseball falls off the machine and turns it off.
Soon Mr.
Szalinski arrives home.
He goes to the attic and immediately becomes very frustrated with the machine that has only blown up fruit.
He beats the machine into pieces then sweeps the floor, accidentally throwing away the four kids.
He takes the trash to the curb.
The children find a tiny tear in the bag and escape but still have to cross the yard to get back to the house.
There are many obstacles in between them and the house.
There are sprinklers that threaten to drown them.
There are bugs that want them for dinner.
There are mowers that can suck them up and chop them in tiny pieces.
Even if they make it past all of these obstacles, how do they get the attention of someone to help them? How can they be fixed if the machine is in pieces? Watch and find out.
