With thousands of businesses operating in England, there can never be too many conference venues. London, the capital, luckily has everything a businessman would ever need - from the venue itself to excellent places to take clients after a conference. Here are some excellent sophisticated restaurants if you're looking to impress after a meeting or conference.

Club Gascon

For clients with an expensive palate, Club Gascon in east-central London is perfect. The French style cuisine and sophisticated and serene decor of greys and golds with marble panels makes for a perfect place to take a client after a long day of meetings at one of the many conference venues. London is filled to the brim with delicious places to eat, but this Michelin-starred restaurant has bold tastes, a fantastic ambience and a low-key atmosphere that businessmen find perfect for making deals or unwinding. Although the prices are as high as the calibre of the scotch, clients will appreciate the fabulous service and luxurious surrounds of this wonderful French eatery.

Arbutus

If you're looking for a delicious restaurant that won't break the bank too badly, Arbutus in Soho is a fabulous place to go and well within walking distance of many of the conference venues. London city workers and businessmen flock to this delicious modern European restaurant. The seasonal menu often sees some more adventurous items than you may see elsewhere - like warm pig's head. There is also a €working lunch' set menu that is a great value, if a little limited. Wine is available by 250ml carafe, which gives diners a chance to experiment more with their selection. This restaurant is just minutes from some of the best conference venues London has to offer, and is ideal for a delicious meal at reasonable prices.

Hawksmoor Seven Dials

If your client is looking for a delicious steak dinner to satisfy their hunger after a long day, the Hawksmoor Seven Dials is a delicious place for meat lovers. This eatery won Time Out's Best New Restaurant award in 2011, and has continued to impress patrons for the last two years. The amount of attention the chefs pay to their preparation of the meat is amazing, and the cocktail menu is also fabulous. Although patrons can easily drop 100 on a meal here, the succulent meat and tasty drinks are well worth it.

After a long day meeting at one of the many conference venues, London is filled with great places to grab some dinner and drinks with a colleague or client. Whether you want a sophisticated French eatery or a juicy steak, there are top-notch restaurants that will impress and satisfy every palate.
