2010 Adopted Shelter Cats Picture Gallery: Mr. Noodles
Mr.Noodles was my choice for the third Cat of the Week for April, 2010.
I adopted Mr. Noodles from the Bakersfield SPCA in November of 2008. I had been begging my parents to let me have a new kitten for over a year, and they finally caved as my birthday present so I started by looking at pet finders and when I saw his picture at the SPCA I knew his was the kitten I wanted to adopt. I went there and his was still just a bit too young. I waited two weeks for him to become available and I visited him every week he was so happy and chatty and the smallest in the litter.
When I finally took him home he was still too small to be fixed. We had to get weight on him, which was not hard once we found food he liked, which was everything but actual kitten food we had to sneak it into our adult cats food and into his wet kitten food. Now he eats everything he can get into he is a little piggy
At just over a year old, he thinks everything is his personal play toy including the other cats. He is a bit of weird - always answers to his name and talks back, sits stands and lays down on command, and best of all plays fetch with his green mice, pink fish and feathery stick toys. Mr. Noodles is just a riot, quite the terror at times but I love him none the less.
