Becoming a Certified Pet Groomer

Have you ever considered becoming a certified pet groomer, I have done the job but never actually bothered to get certified.
In this day and age it seems to do any job one needs to be certified so people know for sure that they can trust you with their pets.
I wondered if it was possible to get certified online or not.
Apparently it is and there are a number of good courses one can take that will learn the trade through and become certified through.
I love animals so this would actually be a good job for me to do.
I did train to groom dogs many years ago, my mother used to breed Poodles, so I learned to clip them professionally.
Plus we had quite a few rescued animals of all sorts.
As an ex grade A show-jumper I also did many years as an apprentice in the equestrian world and used to turn out my horses as well as other peoples for showing events, winning numerous prizes for the best turn out.
All best turned out means is best groomed and presented horse and tack, tack being the horses bridle or saddle etc, so I was also a professional at tack cleaning.
My daughter is considering taking a course to become a certified pet groomer, being disabled I would now find it personally too much because I cannot stand for any great length of time.
I have taught her how to groom our Border Collies and she had a pony and a cat when she was younger so she already has a head start on how to do grooming on three types of animals.
There is a right way and a wrong way to groom any animal, so for a lot of people who haven't had animals in their childhood and learned this, I think taking a course in how to would be an excellent idea not just to get a job but also to learn how to look after their animals grooming needs.
