How to retrieve lost partition using ADRC Data Recovery Express
Here are some common scenarios:
(1) Accidental Corruption
This usually happens when a user installs some partition manager utilities and accidentally deleted or corrupted the original partitions.
(2) Missing Partition
Sometimes partition just disappears for no obvious or apparent reason. Disk manager may show either unallocated space or something weird where the volume(s) are supposed to be.
(3) Partition Table Damaged or Inaccessible
The master boot record (MBR), where the partition information is stored, is damaged.
(4) Other factors such as virus attack, power failure, software corruption, or OS corruption may cause partitions to be lost.
In the event of a lost or deleted partition, stop working on your computer to lessen the risk of doing further damage. This is because almost every action on your computer writes new data to the hard drive, which may be written to replace your deleted partition.
The best solution to access your important data on the deleted or lost partition is to use the ADRC Data Recovery Express software. ADRC Data Recovery Express is able to recover data from all cases of logical damage such as deletion, formatted media, partition corruption, virus attack and other forms of logical damage.
The program is designed to be compact "green-ware" without any installation. In fact, the whole program is less than 164 kb and you could stuff it almost anywhere (such as a storage media) and run the program from there. This will minimise any risk of permanent alteration to your partition.
Simply follow the steps to run ADRC Data Recovery Express:
1) Launch ADRC Data Recovery Express
2) Under ‘Working Drive' listing, select ‘Physical Disk x – Lost Partition (xx GB)'. This is most probably the lost partition that you have deleted.
3) To restore back the partition, click ‘Restore' button and a pop-up message will appear to indicate that the restore has been successfully done.
4) If you are restoring a partition from a computer, restart the computer before you can see the partition. If you restoring from a USB drive, safely remove the device from the taskbar and reconnect it again before the restored partition can be shown.
