    • 1). Save the image to your hard drive. With most document programs (including Microsoft Word), select the image in the document, drag and drop it with your mouse somewhere on your hard drive.

    • 2). Upload your image to an image hosting site, such as Flickr, Snapfish, or even your Facebook page. Right-click the uploaded image and select "Copy Image Address" (wording varies by browser).

    • 3). Open the code for your web page.

    • 4). Type the following where you would like the image to appear: <img src="ADDRESS">

    • 5). Paste the address you copied in Step 2 in place of "ADDRESS."

    • 6). Save the code.
