The NSE is stands for NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE. NSE is a stock exchange where trading has been done. Trading can be made over both the Equities and Derivatives. It got 11th position in the world exchange trading. It was set up by Government of India in 1991. In 1993 it termed as Stock Exchange. NSE generally contains Bank sector, IT sector, Financial Institution, Insurance Company etc. Indias top fifty companies traded in NSE.
It has some objectives like Establish National Wide Trading Facility, meeting international benchmark etc. Top 50 companies of the country involved with NSE. Some of them are:
Tata Consultancy services, Mahindra and Mahindra, Oil and Natural Gas corporation, Punjab National Bank, Bank Nifty, Wipro Limited, ITC limited, ICICI Bank, Hindustan Unilever, Reliance Communication, Reliance Petroleum, NTPC Limited Power, Tata Power, Tata Motors, BHEL, Hero Honda Motors, HCL Technologies, Bajaj Auto, Ambuja Cement limited, GAIL limited, Housing Development Finance Coorporation Bank, Dr. Reddys Laboratories, Cipla Limited etc.
Nifty is also called as S&P CNX Nifty. S&P CNX Nifty is used for different purposes like index fund and benchmarking fund portfolio. It is owned and managed by India Index Services and Products Limited, joined with NSE and CIRSIL. It covers 22 sector of the Indian economy. It represent near about 67.27 percent of free float market.
The BSE Sensex is also called as BOMBAY STOCK EXCHANGE ESNSITIVE INDEX. It is the 10th largest stock exchange.Bse provides an efficient way for trading in equity, derivetives, mutual fund etc. Near about 5000 companies were listed to make BSE worlds number one stock exchange.
On 12 march, 1993 there was a car bomb exploded in the basement of the Bombay stock exchange building. Near about 50 people killed.
Total 30 companies are listed in BSE exchange those are well established and well developed. In India it is regarded as the pulse of Domestic stock market. Its base value is 100.
