The Fear
Like many animals, horses should be maintained.
Leaving them out in the pasture for to long periods can be dangerous.
As it was when my grandfather had to work all the time just to pay the bills.

A large white mare, half Arabian, and half quarter horse, had a naughty temper.
She had three colts that were fast and could jump any fence on the farm.
She had bitten many people before including my uncle's stomach.
My uncle ended up having to get stitches.
OUCH! The day.
One day some family friends came over and a man's wife wanted to see the horses.
Therefore, my father gave me a bucket of sweet feed and told me to go get the horses.
Not very smart, I was only ten years old.
I took the feed and went down into the pasture.
Love.
If you are familiar with horses.
Then you know they love sweet feed.
It is like candy or a very addictive drug to them.
The horses sensed as soon as I walk in the pasture with this treat.
They came running to me.
Although they stopped, it scared me.
The fear.
As I walked up the hill, they followed.
As I walked faster, they would walk faster.
The next thing that I realized, I am running.
So they began to run and they over took me.
I had several bumps on my head, and two large bruises on my back and arm.
I am lucky that I am alive.
Experience.
I learned one thing that day...
it is not to run with a bucket of sweet feed.
Lol! I cannot blame the horses.
They were grazing in the pasture for a long time.
No one trained them to prevent stampeding on me.
They had gone wild.
However, that did not stop my father from punching them or my grandfather from selling them.
Haunting.
Even today I do not like horses walking behind me.
When I am around horses, I am weary.
They made me very nervous until I started training them.
After my first ride, I felt more comfortable.
Spending time with them is the only way to get over the fear.
Funny story.
A man sitting on horse said, "I am pissed off.
" As accidentally the saddle, flips him under the horse.
Someone scream out "Rather pissed off than pissed on.
