I'm Maria Andros, Founder and CEO of Video Marketing Inc. and I'm here to help you get your message, products and services out to your prospects on a global scale. I'll show you how to increase your profits through online video creation. I'm going to share video marketing tips that will help you grow and transform your business.
If you haven't done any videos for your business, or maybe, you already have a video but you're not happy with your content and you want to change it, I'd like to share some steps to make an effective video for your business:
1.    You have to know what technique you can teach for instant results
What value or technique do you have to teach in your video? It should be something that will give your customers instant results.

2.    Move the free line, free report, video, audio
Moving the free line is when you can give your prospects a taste of your products. I gave away a lot of free content and free information. In the beginning, I didn't know if it was going to be too much or if it was going to work. But it did work.
If you can give away some of your best kept stuff (products, programs, etc.) and leave a large part of it for the actual product or program – this can give you instant results.
Here's what happens: Your customers will tie back with instant result to you and think: "If the free stuff is this good, then imagine how great the paid stuff is."
I received a lot of feedback from our blog and from the surveys and weekly evaluations. I was told that my prospects were satisfied with the free content and that it made a difference. What made me very happy is that according to my clients, this has been one of the most valuable investments even after spending time with the other gurus and spending money on other programs.
I moved the free line. In fact, I ended up bringing more content than I intended. But, when you do this, you're going to stand out. You become known online on a bigger scale. I know that you want to reach the masses. You want to reach a lot of people and you really want to make a difference for them.

You make your video, then offer something free to your viewers once the video is finished. Give them a free report, whether it's audio, video, or module (i.e. a PDF). In fact, you can actually create three pieces of content. You can create an audio, have it transcribed and then use that same content to create a video.

You have three ways of pre-qualifying your customer. That's really powerful and easy to do. Content is not as difficult as you think.

I used to have a complete block with content. It took me months to get over it. It was my fear of being visible. I had a fear of putting myself out there because I was afraid that people wouldn't like my message. What happened was, I had 99% positive feedback and 1% who were not positive.

Guess what? When people start to criticize you, you're stirring up emotion. When you stir up emotion, whether it's good or bad – you're doing something right. Why? You want to avoid grey areas in your videos. You don't want to create dull videos where you speak in monotone. Videos like that don't get people inspired and there's no call to action don't provide value. If you really want to take it to the next level, your videos should stir up those hot buttons and you should stir up emotion.

3.    Find a deep want or interest for ideas
Find a deep want or interest for what your prospects are looking for. If you find that and make a video around it, you'll drive traffic to your website. Your website is your store.
That's what I did. I found out who my ideal clients were. I moved the free line and I created content that was valuable and that stirred up a lot of emotion.
4.    Share your story

a)    Remember the law of attraction – like attracts like
I'm sure that you have prospects or people in your life who are similar to you.  We can leverage the law of attraction by being very specific in how we share our stories in our videos.
b)    Share your life and interests
Some of your videos can be about sharing your life and some can be pure content.
It is also important to get the feedback, especially on your content videos. I'd recommend using SurveyMonkey.com. Create a simple survey asking your clients questions like, "What is your biggest marketing challenge?" "What do you see in this video?" or "What do you want to learn more of?" Do this instead of just guessing.
The reason why so many people are failing in marketing is that they don't know their market or what their clients want. Ask your client, "What do you want to see more of?" "What would you like me to make my videos on?" That is where the gold mine is. Your ideal clients will give you the information that you need to create the content.
I did this from the very beginning, even before I had my product. This helped me  know who my market was.
c)    Give examples that relate to the content
d)    How did you get started?
Give examples of how you got started in your niche. What did you go through?
e)    What decisions did you make to become an entrepreneur
Take your prospects through your journey. The more you take them through your journey, the more they're going to relate to you. You're going to build that relationship which is what we want to do. We want to build a long-term structure and foundation.
f)    You can show how your life changed by making the choices that you made
Again, you've been through a very personal journey. When I shared my story, people could really connect with me. They trusted me. If you can do that, your message will be much more powerful.
g)    Talk about the results that you have created and produced
The before and after are very powerful. You can show an example of how your life was before you used the product or program. Then show how your life is now. (e.g. if you're in the weight loss niche, you can show what your life was before you lost weight and contrast it with the life that you have now)
h)    Your lifestyle
I recommend showing your lifestyle. People want to go behind the scenes. Showing some of your lifestyle goes really well when you make your videos.
Remember, the more you share your story, the more your clients will be able to relate to you. This will help you build a relationship with your clients. Keep in mind these relationships need to be maintained for long-term results.
