Animal parties Sacramento
Give your children an entirely unique birthday party experience by booking a party at Nature’s Critters in Fair Oaks.
About Nature’s Critters
Sacramento kids are loving birthday parties at Wacky Tacky, Sky Zone and a wide variety of other locations – but if you’ve grown tired of the same old options (and same high expense!), then Nature’s Critters might be a fun alternative for your kiddo’s next big day.
Lisa Seto is the current owner of Nature’s Critters, which provides up close and interactive nature experiences with various animals. “Miss Lisa” has a Master’s of Science in Biology and a BS in Zoology. She has worked as a vet tech, field ornithology consultant, wildlife rehabilitator and pet therapy volunteer, to name just a few. She is also a lover of children, providing endless patience and intriguing knowledge to children who attend her Fair Oaks facility.
Nature’s Critters has only had a stationary store front facility for about a year. Prior to that, the animals went on tour to schools, daycares, parties and other special events. This is still a solid offering of the organization, making it easy and fun to bring animals to wherever you happen to be.
One of the main goals of Nature’s Critters is to teach about conservation, how to properly care for and handle animals, and bring awareness to a wide variety of species not normally found in the home.

What’s Included
Whether you choose a mobile party to come to you, or plan on heading over to the facility itself, there are many packages and prices to choose from. The base price for a party is the Basic Mobile Birthday Party that costs approximately $175 for up to 17 children. Additional children may be added for $5.00, and the program is appropriate for children aged 4+. Special preschool programs are available for younger kids. This party includes an hour-long critter presentation, framed photo for birthday child and party favors for all guests.
More advanced packages both on the road and off include the option of food (pizza and frozen yogurt are a few choices), birthday dessert (cupcakes or cake) and additional animal interactions. Coming to the Fair Oaks facility is on the more expensive side, but definitely worth it since they do everything for you and allow you to sit back and enjoy the critters, too.
Particular animals cannot be reserved or guaranteed due to their first priority of health and safety, but Miss Lisa does try to oblige any requests received. Outdoor parties are also not available in the winter/spring due to unsafe temperatures for certain animals.
Nature’s Critters is a fun and creative way to explore the animal kingdom without having to commit to a pet in the home or any longterm expense. Instead, give your child a wonderful look at nature and how they can do their part to help the great outdoors through one fun-filled afternoon with Nature’s Critters.
