This is a great way to forget about the days work and the stress of thinking about bills and other stuff.
If you can't calm down enough to get into reading a book then might I suggest you go for a walk.
If the stress is coming from the home life you might want to take this walk alone.
If your spouse insist on going on these walks with you then set some ground rules.
Let them know that you don't want to talk about bills or what the kids need or anything that is stressing you out all the time.
Because your going on these walk to help find some inner peace and lower your stress.
You could ask a friend that you can talk to and unload your daily burdens on.
Be prepared if you take a friend to have to listen to their problems as well.
