Men and women who ate a bagel breakfast compared to men and women who ate two eggs for breakfast on a low calorie diet lost up to 65 percent more weight , and their BMI was reduced up to 61 percent.
Other benefits reported by them was that they had higher energy levels than the bagel eaters.

30 overweight women were allowed to have again bagels for breakfast or 2 eggs.
Both had the same amount of calories and same amounts of protein.
Around lunchtime the women who ate eggs were found to be less famished and ate a lot lighter lunch than the women who ate the bagel breakfast.
Over 36 hours later the women who ate the eggs ate about 400 calories less than the women who ate bagels..
This shows that eating eggs for breakfast can help you be less hungry throughout the day so that you will eat less at lunch and dinner.
This could mean about 2 pounds or so a month eating just eggs for your morning meal and no other diet changes.
Eggs are loaded with a lot of good things for you.
