2 Great Ideas For Fundraisers

It is getting to be that time of year again, isn't it? That's right, the time of year for school proms and class trips.
Neither of these is cheap, and the schools and students need a way to bring in money quickly that can fund their trips and dances.
If you have been involved with PTA's, or if you are a teacher, then you know there are a few tried and true fundraisers that have continued to work throughout the years.
The first is a chocolate or candy drive.
There are thousands of confection companies out there who will sell you their products in bulk so you can resell them for profit.
The only thing you have to worry about in this type of fundraiser is how to keep the students from eating the candy they are supposed to be selling! This fundraiser works great because it appeals to our basic love of sweets.
Most everyone is willing to buy a piece of candy.
Even more people are willing to buy that candy if it helps the children.
To avoid having to pay bulk prices for candy, you could also have your own bake sale.
Those are a great source of money as well, and can even be used in conjunction with the regular candy fundraiser.
Another great idea is to have a carwash.
Most businesses are happy to lend a portion of their parking lots to help a fundraiser.
You could have it at your school, but a local business may provide you even more exposure to potential customers.
