Physiologists have found that even before the birth the fetus' all kinds of sensitivity, muscles etc.
are being formed.
The nervous system is being developed.
And the speech center is the most vulnerable to the negative effects.
A child in the womb is alive - he hears the words addressed to him and to the other people, music, singing.
Talk to your baby, tell him that you are looking forward to his birth, that you love him.
Now let's see what opportunities a baby has, what he can learn after his birth.
The first 3-4 weeks of life When you take care of your little baby, talk to him as if he understands you well, treat him as an interested companion notwithstanding your baby does not speak yet.
Be sure that your baby hears you and tries to understand.
Rocking your baby in your hands or in the crib, sing a lullaby for him.

5-3 months Waking time is lengthening.
At this stage the visual and auditory reactions play a great role.
Situational and business communication forms are being developed.
How should you talk to your baby in this period of his development? When he does not sleep play with the simple toys - rattles, bells, little tambourines for 1-3 minutes.
These objects will help your baby learn to watch a moving toy, focus his eyes on a toy hanging above him.
Go on teaching your baby to listen as for his native language so a foreign one, and turn his head to a sound.
For this purpose talk to him in a melodious way using affectionate and merry tone.
In this period your baby tries to talk to you using sounds.
So learn your baby imitate your speech.
Say the sounds your baby already knows for him to repeat them over and over again.
It is necessary that he see your face, your gestures, mouth and lips movements.
For example, say the same sound: ta-ta-ta, slowly, in a sing-song voice for your baby to be able to hear it and repeat after you.
You approval and positive attitude will inspire your baby to learn faster.
At 4 months an infant actively utters, and starts saying vowels in a sing-song voice by 5 months old.
By 5-6 months old a baby starts saying sing-song strings of consonant sounds like ma-ma-ma-ma, ba-ba-ba-ba.
He begins to say the first syllables: ba, pa, ma.
6-9 months Your baby begins to babble actively.
His babbling should slowly turn into the new words and new syllables, as well as new combinations of vowel and consonant sounds.
Often ask your baby "Where is it?" and invite him to look for an object together with you.
For example, you can hold him in your hands, and his passive vocabulary will be enriching, that will be important for the further language development as well as the mental one.
9-12 months At 9-12 months your baby's verbal imitation skills are being developed, he repeats new syllables and simple words after you.
It means that you can teach him to repeat his first monosyllable and dissyllable simple words.
For instance, show your baby some water or a bed and ask him repeat "wawa","beddy".
The more emotional and often you repeat the words, acting out and showing them the faster your baby will remember them.
The words should be easy and understandable.
Say the rhymes, read the fairy tales, sing the songs and chant to your baby.
Be happy when your baby repeats the words after you and acquires the experience collected through the ages.
