How to Reset the MPG Used on a 2002 Impala
- 1). Crank the engine to power on the Impala's DIC.
- 2). Press the large (left) "Mode" button to access the trip computer (fuel economy, distance, etc.). You may need to press the button several times to cycle through the features.
- 3). Press the small (right) "Mode" button to display the MPG settings. You can either choose "Fuel Used" or "Average Fuel Economy."
- 4). Press and hold the "Reset" button for the setting you want to adjust. After approximately two seconds, the system will reset.
