    • 1). Borrow from the Easter Egg hunt concept and feature a Shamrock Hunt. The day before the party, ask your kids to help you trace and cut the shamrocks from green construction paper; make your life easy and use a template. For extra credit, cover the shamrocks in green glitter.

    • 2). Number the backs of the shamrocks, then hide them throughout the party space.

    • 3). Prior to the party, collect small prizes from the dollar store, toy store and your cupboards. Number the prizes to coordinate with the shamrocks. When the kids turn in the shamrocks they find, you will give them the prizes that match the numbers on the shamrocks.

    • 4). When the party starts, crank up some Irish music to get the kids in the mood, then let them loose to find the hidden shamrocks.

    • 5). Keep the adults happy by offering Irish Coffee cocktails! Coffee, sugar, Irish whisky and whipped cream is all it takes.

    • 6). Feature a leprechaun hat-making/decorating area. Then start a parade of hats to show off the creations.
