    • 1). Study yoga. Take yoga classes from several different instructors and learn a variety of different styles. Get to know the poses and their benefits like the back of your hand. Listen to disco and soulful music. Practice yoga on your own to this music. Make yourself flow through the poses and have fun.

    • 2). Contact local gyms and fitness clubs. Propose your disco yoga class. Offer to teach a free class once to show off your skills and see if the gym patrons are interested. Get yourself hired.

    • 3). Start the class off with a popular disco song that everyone would know such "Staying Alive." Begin with yoga sun salutations and flow through the movements. Encourage your students to breathe and sing. This will increase their stamina while encouraging them to have fun with their exercise.

    • 4). Move from the sun salutations into the warrior poses. Play comical music such as "Kung Fu Fighting" during the warrior pose sequence. From this go into tree pose and chair pose followed by a move to the floor for cat and cow poses to stretch out your back. Keep the flow going the entire time, no holding of poses, just flowing in and out of them into the next one and repeating again.

    • 5). End the class by starting all over from the first movements and poses then continuing and doing every pose you did during the class in a complete sequence. This should take the time span of one to two songs. Good closing music is "We Are Family" and "Celebration." Leave your class feeling motivated, alive, cleansed and full of energy.
