The Boston Harbor Hotel, one of the most scenic destinations on the Boston summer landscape, is once again providing a full slate of free entertainment in 2012. The “Boston Harbor Summer Series” provides an eclectic mix of music and movies that visitors can enjoy throughout the season on Rowe’s Wharf. Music genres include tropical, soul, timeless classics, and blues, while Friday nights brings classic films, from “Jaws” to “Dirty Dancing” to the center stage of entertainment.

Music takes place Monday through Thursday beginning at 6 p.m., while Friday films begin following a 4:30 p.m. DJ. Movies are displayed on a large screen situated over the harbor. Bands play on a barge in the harbor, creating a unique environment for a warm, summer evening.

Mondays – Beach Party Music

An addition to the 2012 schedule, patrons can unwind to the smooth sounds of music inspired by the tropical islands, while kicking back with a rum and Coke or a painkiller to enhance the experience.
