The Adventurous Mentality (Running Through the Jungle of Life Unscathed)

103 7
People nowadays view life as a chore instead of an adventure, a jungle of fear, rules and regulations instead of a creative adventure.
Life really is a good as you make it, and as good as you take it.
Patience, understanding and tolerance, a winning combination if you want to make it.
This article has a real interesting take on that.
For life is like a river, we can go with a little spoon or a big dump truck, no matter how much or how little we get, it keeps on flowing.
That is what I mean by life is as good as we make it with our efforts.
Sure, for example Warren Buffet went with a dump truck, the unknown bum on the corner has a teaspoon.
That is pure opinion, but it makes my point clear.
Disappointment is self made, appointment is self done.
That is my big point in this article.
Some would even say that life is a game, the better you play, the more you get.
But, although that is so, developing a full understanding of what is happening and what you are doing is also necessary.
If it was not, then we would have had an instruction manual that we could all "cherry pick" that came with life a long time ago that would have been standard.
The Bible and other religious books come pretty close, but with all the choices of religions, denominations and translations that come with those, no win, no cigar there.
Philosophy is even worse most of the time, sure you get a few that "gargle" the truth, but they are so mixed in with everything else, most cannot or do not tell too well the difference between truth and lies.
It is like a bull frog calling the toad nasty.
No one can tell what is going on in those "towers of confusion" unless they "train their eyes" or use discerning sense.
From my point of view, individual thinking and honest understanding is the only way to do everything.
If it was not, then I would just be another idiot following the gold brick path leading nowhere instead of the hard, honest path leading genuinely somewhere.
The only real way to fight for your rights is to take them honestly, however that honesty may be.
The oppressor can only oppress to the extent that you do cooperate with that oppressor.
Promises are the carrot on the stick that the donkey chases.
Realities are made, taken and won by pioneers and winners, not losers and quitters.
Glory is earned, not given.
I rest my case and let you fill in those blanks.
I have started, take action on the advice.
