Some of the side effects are light sensitivity in the eye, dryness, hazy or blurry vision, difficulty in night vision, glare, halos, dry eye, scratchiness, glare, starbursts around lights, discomfort, pain, and so on. In most patients, the side effects disappear after sometime. In certain rare cases the side effects are permanent and are something the patients have to live with the rest of their lives.
