Dealing With Only Unmarried Friend in Your Group

103 11
When the members of your all-girls group start getting hitched, that can be a lonely and confusing phase in your friendship.
But it shouldn't be if you only exert more effort to understand one another.
If there's only one unmarried girl in your group, remember that: • You shouldn't always think in terms of pairs.
Remember that even if you have gotten hitched, you should still enjoy individuality.
In the same way, stop pressuring your single girl pal to get herself a partner.
• It's all right to go in odd numbers.
Just because your single girl has no partner does not mean that she will not enjoy going out with you and your partners.
Go ahead, invite her for a movie or lunch even if she's the only one who has no partner.
If she says it's okay, then believe her.
Otherwise, she herself will say no because she feels uncomfortable without a partner.
• Avoid canceling a date at the last minute.
So you agreed to go out with your single friend and your partner.
But you decide at the last minute that you would rather enjoy some privacy with your partner.
Canceling at the last minute is unfair for your single friend.
If you will cancel, give her at least one or two whole days.
Remember that unlike you, she has no one to snuggle with.
Finding an instant date will be hard for her.
She will be stuck at home with nothing to do while you have a grand night with your partner.
• No matter how close your single friend had become to your respective partners, there are things that she prefers to be just between you girls.
You can't expect your single friend to narrate how she seduced this gorgeous guy at the library when your husbands are around.
