Ngwenyama is the title of the king of Swaziland, who has been a member of the Dlamini clan since the kingdom was first created in 1815. The Swati word Ngwenyama means 'lion', and is a specific honorific related to kingship. The female equivalent, for queen, is Ndlovukati.
