Learn to Translate Latin

106 28
Learn to translate some elementary Latin with these 10 sentences from Praxis Grammatica. Not only is the translation provided, but I've analyzed each word and made comments about what is grammatically helpful or interesting in the sentence. Although none of these sentences is difficult, they should, preferably, be undertaken in the order presented because (a) they do get a bit more complicated and (b) early concepts are reinforced.

John Harmar's Praxis Grammatica is the name of a book from 1653 that was designed to help Latin students practice their Latin translation skills. The book was put online by St. Louis University in their Paedagogica Latina section.
