Most people start to have tight (or inflexible) hips as they get older.
For the most part, men will have stiff hips even if they work out on a regular basis.
Stiff or inflexible hips can cause injuries as you play sports, do regular chores, or any basic activities.
We should keep in mind that we must do stretches or exercises that will stretch your hips.
When you have more flexible hips, you can do squats and dead lifts in perfect form.
The key is getting those hips as flexible as possible.
There are a lot of movements or stretches that you can do to make your hips open up more.
What can you do to make your hips as flexible and nimble as possible? The hula hoop is a fun toy.
Using the hula hoops on your hips is a great way to open up your hips and make them flexible.
As hard as I try (as a guy), I do not have much success at the hula hoop.
Also, I am a bit conscious for other people to see me using the hula hoop.
One of the simple yet effective movement or stretch or exercise that you can do is the hip rotation.
This is done by having your feet firmly planted on the ground.
Then, you place your hands on your hips and rotate your hips from right to left in a circular and fluid motion.
You can do this 10 times.
Then, you can rotate the other way (left to right in a circular motion) for about 10 times.
You can try this movement with your feet shoulder width apart.
Optimally, you want your feet together when you do this movement.
You will be opening your hips more from this position.
Also, you can try this rotational movement standing on one leg.
Now, you must be careful to not twist your knees.
Also, you want to twist more slowly and deliberately from this one-legged position.
You must keep your hips nimble and supple.
Broken hips are a common injury as you get older.
They can put you in a hospital for awhile.
You want to take care of those hips since they are the only ones you got.
