Surprise Party

• Rent out a room at one of his favorite restaurants and throw him a surprise party with all his friends. This is easy to pull off because you simply tell him you are taking him to the restaurant for a nice dinner. Then when you show up, all his friends are there. Another option is to have the party at his or your apartment. Pick him up and blindfold him. Drive him around for awhile while his friends set up the party and all the people get in place. When enough time has passed, walk him up to the door using a different path (e.g. if you take the elevator normally, carefully help him walk up the stairs).
  
  

Scavenger Hunt Party

• Plan a scavenger hunt with his party as the ultimate prize at the end. Write clues, each one leading to the next. They can lead him back to wherever you decide to have the party, whether it is a bar, restaurant or other venue. For example, the clues can lead him all over town to somewhere like a local park where people are waiting for him. You can tell him that you have planned a party for him, but he has to figure out where it is by solving the clues. This is a good party for a boyfriend because you two know little things about each other which can be incorporated into the clues.
  
  

Tickets to an Event

• Give him tickets to an event like a baseball or football game to see his favorite team. Have all his friends go with him and rent a limo to take them there and back. Another option is to rent out a VIP box for the day and hold the party in there. Depending on the stadium, the VIP boxes are sometimes catered which means less loose ends for you to tie up.
  
  

Club Party

• If your boyfriend likes the club scene, then rent out the VIP room at a club and have bottle service. This way he can invite whomever he wants to come and join the party. If they can't all fit in the VIP section then they can still give his name at the door and get in. Some clubs allow only your party to enter the club before a certain time. If your party fills up the club then it is only your friends, so try to do this for his party to ensure all his favorite people are around him having fun and celebrating his big day.
