    Scavenger Hunt

    • A scavenger hunt for a bar birthday party gives party goers the freedom to create challenges from the birthday person and the celebrators. Create a list of things that the birthday person must do. Take an autograph book with you, and make one of the challenges getting many people to sign it. Make another challenge be asking a man to put on lipstick and kiss a page in the book. Ask the party goers to create a birthday card from items found at the bar. Get creative with your scavenger hunt, but don't list things that will make the birthday person feel uncomfortable.

    Rent a Bar

    • Rent a bar for the night--have the bar close for night so only you and your party will be allowed in. This is a fun way to celebrate if you want many people to attend, surrounding you with your friends and family. Make sure you do not invite more people than can fit in the venue.

    Golf

    • Pub crawl golf is another way to celebrate a birthday by spreading the party out to several bars. Create a list where each drink is labeled with a "par," and each "par" is how many gulps are needed to finish one drink. For example, a shot would be a par one. If you need two gulps to finish, you have a bogey. Include water as one of your drinks so party goers stay hydrated throughout the night. A glass of water could be a par four, for example. Nine drinks--or "holes"--is good for one night.

    Simple Bar Party

    • For a low key birthday party at a bar, get a few friends together, and head out to the local watering hole. Or, try a bar that you have wanted to visit. Get there early, and stay until it closes. Go somewhere that is a bar and grill so you can eat your birthday dinner there as well before getting the party started. This is a great option for a birthday party on a budget.
