The Slim Fast diet is based on eating controlled meals several times throughout the day.
What the Slim Fast diet does not allow you to do is choose what types of foods that you will be eating.
You will always be eating snack bars and drinking shakes to make yourself full.
This article will show you how to can lose weight just like you would with the Slim Fast diet only you will be able to prepare and eat actual meals instead of eating snack bars and shakes.
The basic secret to dieting is to increase metabolism and decrease calorie intake.
These can both be done by simply watching what you eat and doing a little exercise.
Here are a few tips to start losing weight.
1.
Run or walk 1 mile 3 times per week.
Cardio workouts are very important especially if you want to lose weight around your stomach area.

Increase your metabolism.
Eat 5 or 6 smaller meals each day rather than 3 large meals.
What this will do is get your body used to digesting food and burn more calories.
Make sure you don't eat more than you would for 3 meals though.
Just take the three meals and split them in half and eat 3 other times throughout the day.
There are several options when it comes to dieting, you just have to find out what will work for you.
Most diets do work if you stick with the plan that they give you.
If you jump ship then the weight will either come back or you won't even lose any.
