Personal Items

• Many photographers are now asking the bride and groom to choose a personal item that means something to them, that they enjoy, or that shows off their personality to include in a wedding photograph. Grooms that play sports can get their picture with a football, hockey stick, baseball bat, or basketball. Brides can have a musical instrument they played or a treasured stuffed animal featured in the photos. Having a personal item displayed in the photos shows a personal side to the bride and groom and is a sentimental type of photo.
  
  

In Front of Sports Stadium/Arena

• If the bride and groom are fans of a specific sports team, then having their wedding photos done in front of the venue where the sports team plays is a fun idea. Some venues will even grant permission for photos to be taken inside the arena. These photos can take place in front of baseball stadiums, football stadiums, or hockey and basketball arenas. If the couple are high school sweethearts and got involved through high school athletics, then take their wedding photos on the high school athletic field as well. This is a way to pay tribute to the love and passion the couple has for a certain sports team or sport.
  
  

Photos With Pets

• If the couple have a dog or cat, include the pet in the wedding photos. Pose the bride and groom with their beloved dog or cat for photos that are playful and personal. Do make certain that the pet is captured appropriately in the picture and that pets are permitted where the photos are taken.

• Sometimes the bride and groom just want to have fun with their wedding photos. Let them have fun with poses including dramatic and over-the-top romantic poses such as the groom picking the bride up or dipping in her as if they were dancing. Also include wedding photos with funny facial expressions from the couple and their wedding party. These type of photos are fun and carefree.
