How to Get Burned Milk Off an Electric Stovetop
- 1). Slide the burners out of their sockets and remove the drip pans from their places if your stove top has removable burners.
- 2). Place the burners and drip pans in a sink filled with equal parts hot water and white vinegar. Leave them to soak for 30 minutes.
- 3). Spray the burnt milk stain with undiluted white vinegar and allow the spray to soak in for 20 to 30 minutes.
- 4). Wet a cleaning sponge or cloth with vinegar or hot water. Dip the sponge or cloth into baking soda to have a mild abrasive cleaner.
- 5). Sponge away the residue from the burnt milk stain.
- 6). Wipe the area clean with a damp cloth. Dry it with a lint-free cloth.
- 7). Sponge the burner and drip pan if necessary and rinse them. Dry them before returning them to the stove.
