No doubt if you are reading this article then you are an Xbox 360 owner and unfortunately something has gone wrong with your console and it needs to be repaired.
Well you are not alone.
As superb as the Xbox 360 is there were a couple of design flaws which meant that there were problems right from the beginning.
The most notable of these problems became known as the "3 Red Rings of Death" otherwise known as the "RROD".
This came about due to there not being enough cool airflow in the unit and it overheated as a consequence there are now thousands of 360 owners looking for Xbox 360 Repair information.
The first thing you should do before anything else is to make sure that your console isn't still under warranty.
If it is still under warranty then go to the Microsoft website or call them so that you can begin the process of sending back your unit for them to fix, at their expense.
The second thing you should do is determine what the problem actually is.
While the red rings of death are the most common 360 problem there are others.
Instead of having 3 ring rings illuminated you can actually have 1.
2, 3 or 4, all of which signify different problems.
Another problem that can pop up are error codes, while these are usually easier to fix they can still be a problem unless you know what they mean.
Usually a quick search on Google with the code number will quickly bring a solution and in some cases the error code can be as simple as an AV lead not being attached correctly.
