Zippo Blu Lighter

• 1). Turn over the Zippo Blu butane lighter and locate the fill valve at the bottom of the lighter.
  
  
• 2). Insert the nozzle of the butane can into the fill valve hole on the bottom of the lighter.
  
  
• 3). Note the fuel level in the window on the side of the lighter. At least 1/8 inch of fuel should be visible inside the window. Allow two minutes for the lighter to fully absorb the butane.
  
  
• 4). Open the lighter lid.
  
  
• 5). Press down on the flint wheel using your thumb and roll your thumb downward onto the gas release button to ignite the lighter. Release the gas button to extinguish the flame.
  
  

Zippo Windproof Lighter

• 1). Open the Zippo windproof lighter lid. Separate the inside lighter unit from its case.
  
  
• 2). Raise the corner of the felt pad on the underside of the inside unit to expose the packing material and fuel chamber.
  
  
• 3). Insert the nozzle of the butane can into the hole in the packing, and gently squeeze the can to add fuel to the packing. Stop filling the fuel chamber once the packing is saturated.
  
  
• 4). Fit the inside unit back inside its case.
  
  
• 5). Press the flint wheel down with your thumb, and roll the flint wheel once clockwise to ignite the lighter.
  
  
• 6). Close the lighter lid to extinguish the flame.
