Knowledge of God
The knowledge of God is the most unique gift of spiritual acquisition divinely revealed to mankind with enthralling state of wonderment. It's a consuming reality inspiring victories upon the battlefields of earth, tightening the belt around waistline righteousness, sealing up the vision in wisdom fading shadow at dusk, where time footstep beats in quick retreat and seasons change in repeated requisition.
There are many ways to know God, but knowing some aspect about God only gives you a brief insight to the spiritual nature of the Supreme Being. We first can get acquainted with God through his word, and after developing the relationship we communicate through prayer with meditation we place our minds at the receiving end for our prayers to be answered.
Before you try to run a marathon, first do a little practice run over the distance of ten or twelve miles, build up endurance stamina and strength, the same thing applies, if you want to know more about God, a good suggestion would be to read and pray through the bible.
Starting with a simple prayer of thanksgiving and adoration, after awhile confession and faith will lead you unto a deeper revelation of what God requires from your devotion, until this procedure becomes part of your daily life. Here is an example, let us take the prayer book of psalms, it describe the magnificent splendor of God, here we learn that God has spoken to man, and the Bible is his instrumental Word, given to us to make us wise unto salvation.
God is Lord and King over his world; he rules all things for his own glory, displaying his perfections in all that he does, in order that men and angels may worship and adore him.
God is our provider; he is active in sovereign love through the Lord Jesus Christ to rescue believers from the guilt and power of sin, to adopt them as his children and to bless them accordingly.
God is our refuge and strength, God is the strength of our life.
Knowing God gives scriptural guaranteed purpose and peace to life's daunting measures, experiencing God in fellowship provides abundant security and eternal hope, guardian angels access your lifestyle reveling in his presence, embracing daily his amazing unfailing love, everything God does reveal his glory and majesty through us.
Nature performs his wonders in countless delights, but we are the precipitant of his gracious mercy, we can all attain to the knowledge of God. He is real and he calls us into his sanctuary to share intimate fellowship.
He has done this so that they would look for God, somehow reach for him, and find him. In fact, he is never far from any one of us, for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ''For we are also His offspring.
