Keeping Your Business Internet Safe
The hesitations and reservations that the people who were first introduced to the online universe when it was new and had to adjust to using it without taking for granted that it was there, developed a different set of rules and personal policies for its use. They weren't shown what to do and what not to do necessarily, but they also weren't born into a world where it already existed and was just another part of daily life.
The up and coming younger generations have had the internet and this technology woven into their everyday life experiences and are less stressed out by technology issues that flare up from time to time. They are more at ease and connected with what this technology can do and find it less threatening to share personal information and bits of information about their personal daily lives.
People that have grown up with this internet blanket that covers the world know no other way to behave and know no other way to interact with others. Sharing intimate details about their daily lives online is as normal to them as asking somebody over a telephone how their day was. It's how they interact with each other and even though it allows people to be more open and sharing, it can also get you in trouble if you are not careful.
In an environment where rules are either not clear or not enforced, anything goes has replaced modesty and shame. YouTube is the perfect screen to showcase this questionable behavior and is even considered ok as long as it is shared, followed by Tweet reviews and comments. While some of this is harmless, being careless can cause needless problems. Learning to use common sense and moderation has shown over the hundreds of years of human existence to be very beneficial to mankind when used properly.
